Requirements for the development of learning modules in VET 4.0

Which concrete products or learning product does your learning module have? 

The learning product is a functioning light control system controlled through an app. The installation- and configuration process is documented by a video. 

Explain which learning product can/has to be achieved through interdisciplinary work. 

The documentation can be done though interdisciplinary work.  

Is it possible to transfer the learning module or parts of it into other sectors? (If yes, which ones?) 

Yes, in Germany:  

  • Electronics technician for industrial engineering  
  • Plant mechanic for sanitary, heating and air conditioning systems 
  • Information technology and telecommunications system electronic technician (m/f) 

 

Can the learning module be implemented in current curriculums? If yes, please describe where and how. 

The learning module can be implemented in the current curriculum of the training of “Electronics technician – specializing in energy and building technology” in the learning field 2 (plan and execute electrical installations) and learning field 4 (to provide information and communication technology systems). 

Please also point out which recommendations with regard to VET 4.0 the learning module fulfils (cf. Requirements …). 

The learning module
